Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 October 2026.

Welcome to TAVI. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tavi ("TAVI", "we", "us" or "our"). They cover your use of the TAVI band, the TAVI mobile app for iOS and Android, this website, and related services such as Ask TAVI and customer support (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, pairing a band, placing an order, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About TAVI

TAVI is a screenless wearable and an app that help you understand your body and remember your day.

The band measures signals such as heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep and movement. When you double-tap it, it records a short audio capture. The app brings these measurements together with your calendar, your activities and your captures to give you scores, insights, summaries, suggested tasks and answers to your questions.

2. Who can use TAVI

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Services. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must not allow you to use them.

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for using the Services in line with the laws that apply to you.

3. Your account

You can sign in with email and password, with Google or with Apple. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your sign-in details and your phone secure
  • Everything that happens under your account
  • Telling us promptly at contact@tavi.ae if you think someone else has accessed your account

One band can be paired to one account at a time. If a band is already paired to another account, you will not be able to pair it until it has been released from that account.

4. The band and the app

The band connects to the app by Bluetooth. Some features need permissions on your phone, such as Bluetooth, microphone, location, motion, calendar, camera, notifications, and access to Apple Health or Health Connect. You choose which permissions to grant, and you can change them at any time in your phone settings. Some features will not work if you turn a permission off.

We may update the app, the band's software and the Services from time to time to improve them, fix problems or meet legal requirements. Some updates may be needed for the band and the app to keep working together.

5. TAVI is not a medical service

Important: TAVI is a wellness and personal-organisation product. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.

The scores, insights, trends and answers in the Services are estimates based on the data available to us. They can be wrong or incomplete, for example if the band is worn loosely, is not charged, or has not synced.

  • Do not use TAVI as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
  • Talk to a doctor or other qualified professional about any health concern or before changing your exercise, sleep or medication
  • In an emergency, call your local emergency number. TAVI does not monitor you for emergencies and will not alert anyone on your behalf

6. Captures and recording other people

When you double-tap the band, it records audio. A blue light on the band shows when recording is active.

You are responsible for using this feature lawfully and respectfully. Laws about recording conversations differ by country and situation. Before you record a conversation, you must make sure you have the consent you need from everyone who is recorded, and you must not record where recording is prohibited, such as in private places, or in meetings and venues that do not allow it.

TAVI is not responsible for how you use captures. Do not use captures to harass, threaten, defame or unlawfully monitor anyone.

7. Ask TAVI and other AI features

Ask TAVI, capture summaries and suggested tasks are produced with the help of artificial intelligence, including speech-to-text and language models run by our service providers. Audio and the text needed to answer you are sent to those providers for processing, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important, such as names, dates, times and tasks, before you rely on it. Ask TAVI is designed to answer questions about your TAVI data and features, and may decline other questions.

8. Your content

Your content means the data and material you create or provide through the Services, including your health measurements, activities, captures, transcripts, tasks and messages to us.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display it only as needed to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Services for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content.

We may use information that has been combined and anonymised so that it can no longer identify you to understand and improve the Services.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break the law or use the Services to harm others
  • Record, upload or share content that you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to access another person's account, data or band
  • Interfere with, overload or attempt to break the security of the Services
  • Copy, reverse engineer or tamper with the app, the band's software or the Services, except where the law allows it
  • Use the Services to build a competing product or to collect data in bulk
  • Use TAVI data to make medical, insurance, employment or legal decisions about yourself or anyone else

10. Orders, prices and delivery

You can buy the TAVI band on this website. By placing an order you confirm that the information you give is accurate.

  • Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. Delivery costs, if any, are shown before you pay.
  • An order is accepted when we confirm it. We may cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price was shown by mistake, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you
  • Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, on its own secure page. We do not see or store your full card details
  • We deliver to the address you give. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
  • Please check the product when it arrives and contact us at contact@tavi.ae straight away if it is damaged or faulty

Your rights to cancel, return and get a refund, and the warranty on the band, are set out in the refund policy and the warranty information shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

11. Third-party services

The Services work with third-party services, such as Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Google and Apple sign-in, your phone's calendar, maps, and our cloud, AI, email and payment providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for them.

12. Our property

The Services, including the TAVI name, logo, design, software, scores and text, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app and the band's software for their intended purpose while you follow these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

13. Suspending or ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account in the app. When you request deletion, your account is closed and your data is removed after a 14-day grace period, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or deactivate your account, with notice where we reasonably can, if you break these Terms, if we must do so by law, or to protect you, other people or the Services. While an account is deactivated you cannot sign in, but your data is kept until the account is reactivated or deleted.

14. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the band's measurements or any score will be accurate, or that the Services will meet your particular goals. Battery life and performance depend on how you use the band.

15. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss caused by your reliance on estimates, scores or AI output. Nothing in these Terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law.

Where we are responsible to you, our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us for the band or Services in the 12 months before the event that caused the loss, as far as the law allows.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features or when the law changes. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Services after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in [emirate or free zone]. The courts of [emirate or free zone] have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at contact@tavi.ae. We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly.
